This weapon comes from the factory with a 14″ barrel, and a Shockwave Raptor bird’s head grip for maximum maneuverability. The Raptor grip is uniquely shaped to minimize recoil. The overall length of the Mossberg 590 Shockwave is just over 26 inches, making it fully compliant within the terms of “firearm”, this is not a short-barreled shotgun and does not fall under Class 3/NFA firearms under federal law.
